Internship @ The Andaman A Luxury Collection Resort(Langkawi)

Urgh!!! This was my first confession within this few weeks! Y? My intern was sucks at first when i reached, due to the "not used to it basis" on my mind. What im meaning is I miss my family especially my mama, buddies as well & my pets!!!Kao Chai!!! This is the one and the only first time I am away from my family for 3 months,. To be frank, im not used to it cos I'm a sticky child especially to my mama=) I do cried a lot, maybe just to release my stress. Till now i miss her like crazy~Miss her dishes & her soup so much! Miss my family, jimuiS...
However, life have to goes on...Intern for 3 months I think i can overcome it! Should not be a problem! I was in the main outlet of Food&Beverage Department which means im in Restaurant! I have shifts from 7am to 3pm & another one is 3pm to 11pm. This week my shift drop on the sun rise, so the day afta 2day i will work aftanoon shift & my last week at the main restaurant! Afta that will switch to another venue. The 3rd month I have to accomplish 2 departments which is Front Office & Housekeeping. Hope so good compliments on every department I go through.
But for now im used to it for a lil' as nowadays im busy with my work, me n the associates are close now. I have courage to ask if i dont understand cos i know the are willing to answer me^^ They have a kind heart=) Thanks for evything & if we, trainees bring trouble, i apologise 1st*huhu*. Normally my off day is on Sunday, so me & my frens will do some short visit on the island, we feel so exhuasted & yet we had lots of fun=)
Oh ya 1 more thing to share! Yesday was my morning shift, in the main restaurant, morning we served American Breakfast Buffet. So my job is to do the clearing & to offer the guest coffee/tea, milk & butter & some times hostess. So here comes a middle age range from 50-60 years old, Indian husband & wife guest from Singapore but the wife is Malaysian. They are sitting just next on the station I worked at. So of course I hav to serve them & so we had a lil' conversation like whr r u from? come here for vacation, bla bla bla...Suprisingly when they leave they approach towards me & say thanks to me for the service provided & guess wat? They give me tips of RM10!!! Of course I rejected them but they insist to give me & the uncle said this is only for you, we appreciate yr service & the wife smile at me & say pls take Sharon. And so I took it! Seriously I felt dang hapi yesday not because of the RM10 but it do fulfills my satisfaction towards my job. I felt like I was being appreciated. Wow, they come to me when they leave & passed me the tips. That shows I provide good service huh? Haha just kidding la>.< However, im concern on my job now cos i realy want to have good compliments on my work! Will work harder & all the best to myself=)
